This is a noble initiative aimed at preserving Chennai’s last natural wetland, our own Pallikaranai Marshland. There is a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers from CETAAC, the photographers community in Chennai, IT Park community, students and teachers from schools and colleges, parents, residents associations and more.

We conduct various engagement program to spread awareness about the importance or preserving the wetlands, the various species and migratory birds coming here.

College of Engineering Trivandrum Alumni Association Chennai (CETAAC) chapter, CET, established in 1939, is one of the oldest and finest technical institutions in Kerala and South India. CET engineers occupy senior positions in a large number of major organizations in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai. CETAA Chennai chapter was formed in 2009, grouping the alumni of CET residing in Chennai.

Objective being, beyond friendship, to take on various aspects of CETAA’s Chennai community, extending its arms to various social and environmental causes for the metro city of Chennai.
